Winter Jam 2010
The Student Ministry is going to Winter Jam at Rupp Arena, Saturday, March 13th. Doors open at 5pm. More details to come!

As Jesus, James, John and Peter came down off the mountain, the other nine disciples were in a heated argument with the teachers of the law. When the multitudes saw Jesus they ran toward him and surrounded him trying to tell their side of the story first. Amidst the chaos, a man pushed his way through the multitudes and fell at Jesus' feet. "Lord it's my son, he has great seizures which try to kill him by throwing him into the fire and water. He suffers greatly from these seizures. I took him to your disciples but they could not heal him."
Jesus then looked at HIS disciples and said, "O unbelieving and perverse generation how much longer shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to ME."
So they brought the boy to JESUS and when the evil spirit saw JESUS it threw the boy down onto the ground and he began flailing around, knashing his teeth and foaming at the mouth.
Jesus asked the boy's father, "How long has he been like this?" (As if Jesus didn't know)"From childhood," answered the boy's father, "Sometimes it grabs hold of him and throws him into the fire and also the water trying to kill him. But IF you can do anything, have pity and help us."
"If you can?" responded Jesus, "Nothing is impossible for those who believe!" Then Jesus healed the little boy so much so many thought he was dead. But Jesus extended his hand and lifted up the little boy to a new life. Jesus went on to say that if we would have the faith of a mustard seed, we could move mountains.
So, my question to you is this: What kind of miracle do you need today? If you are in need of a miracle do like the man in this story did, bow down at the feet of Jesus and ask him. When you do ask him, have faith that he can change your circumstances. After all he said it himself that nothing is impossible with HIM.
